A tough, durable and versatile directional waterproof jacket, ideal for women who enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and conditions.
The Andina uses the Nikwax Analogy®waterproof system. It combines maximum ventilation, a comfortable feminine shape, and a reinforced back for pack carrying.

If you enjoy mountain walking, cycling, climbing and backpacking, you need a versatile jacket suitable for all these activities. Good protection from wind and rain, and something to keep you warm is essential. However, you also need to be able to keep cool when you are working hard.
The Andina’s versatile design combines with the Nikwax Analogy® fabric for optimum comfort. The Andina provides waterproof protection, warmth, and cooling in one tough, but feminine garment.

• Enhanced weather protection when carrying a rucksack provided by mesh reinforcement in the back panel
• Comfort, function and style by combining a feminine cut with articulated shoulders and elbows.

2. Pump Liner® reinforcement on shoulders and back for extra protection when load carrying or in heavy rain.

5. Excellent field of vision and protection provided by fully adjustable hood, uniquely shaped to accommodate long hair comfortably.

In what kind of weather conditions can I use my Andina?
The Andina has been tested to resist at least 4 hours of steady rain; therefore you can use it throughout the year in a temperate climate, and even at high altitude. Because the fabric system offers significant insulation when the ventilation zips are closed, this is not the best garment to deal with very hot conditions. In that case we would recommend a Nikwax® Windproof, perhaps combined with one of our Parameta® T+ baselayers, to optimise breathability and cooling, or with Nikwax® Fleece for full weather protection.
